A robot is helping disabled people in Jablonec – the first of its kind in Europe.
The Home and Day Care Centre in Jablonec nad Nisou has begun testing a unique robot called Robic. It is the first of its kind in Europe to be certified as a medical device. It helps clients with autism spectrum disorders, dementia and other mental or physical problems. The testing is taking place thanks to a joint initiative of the Regional Development Agency and the Liberec Region. The operation is funded by the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) Northeast Bohemia project.
