On Saturday, September 20, 2025, we participated in the AI for Everyone Festival in Prague at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The festival attracted more than 500 people from the general public, experts, and companies interested in artificial intelligence. The event offered a varied program full of lectures, workshops, and practical demonstrations of how AI can help in everyday life and business.
Our EDIH Northeast team at the Regional Development Agency presented its activities and projects focused on the practical use of artificial intelligence. The AI-based social robot Robic, which we are testing in cooperation with EDIH Madrid Region and the Spanish company Inrobics in social organisations in the Liberec Region, attracted particular interest. Festival participants had the opportunity to exercise, talk, or dance with Robic. They also learned more about how our project supports the education, communication, and development of people with autism spectrum disorder.
We would like to thank everyone who visited us at the festival for the interesting discussions and insightful feedback. It was a great opportunity for us to share experiences, find inspiration, and make new contacts for future collaboration!
