On Thursday, February 12, we held two events in one day: a presentation of ARR and EDIH NEB services at the Assembly of the Association of Municipalities of the Liberec Region (attended by the leadership of the Liberec Region and more than 40 mayors) and a training session entitled “AI for Businesses – Your Competitive Advantage Vol. 2,” which was attended by over 30 representatives of self-employed individuals and companies.
At the Assembly of the Association of Municipalities of the Liberec Region, we presented the activities of the Regional Development Agency (ARR) and the services of the European Digital Innovation Hub EDIH Northeast Bohemia (EDIH NEB) as part of the partners’ block.
We presented the following to representatives of municipalities and cities:
EDIH NEB and opportunities for supporting digitization in public administration (from technology testing to consultations),
smart sensors for monitoring the quality of the indoor environment in municipal buildings (schools, libraries, etc.),
the Robic AI robot as an example of technologies that can be used in cities and municipalities,
The Liberec Region payment portal, which simplifies the payment of local fees and reduces the administrative burden on authorities.
The program also included a guided tour of the Digitální prak testbed, where we took interested participants from the Assembly and introduced them to other practical technologies for local governments.
On the same day, we also organized a training session entitled “AI for Businesses – Your Competitive Advantage Vol. 2” led by popular lecturer Lukáš Eršil. More than 30 representatives of self-employed individuals and companies participated in the training.
